Dr Jason Lam has over two decades of experience working in the performing arts space at an elite level.
He was formerly a professional dancer with companies such as Sydney Dance Company and Tasdance before retiring and studying medicine. He has also taught dance to children through to adults from beginners through to Company level around Australia.
He was the inaugural Crichton Dance Medicine Fellow at the Australian Ballet and Orchestra Victoria and holds a Masters in Sports Medicine, a Diploma of Child Health and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practice.
He was the team doctor for Carlton VFLW and Sandringham VFL, combat sports Victoria and was part of the medical team at the Commonwealth Games 2018.
He is actively involved in medical education and research and has presented and published around dance medicine, hand injury, and chronic pain.

He is undertaking further training in Sport and Exercise Medicine with the Australian College of Sport and Exercise Physicians.
He is passionate about providing expert, comprehensive care to athletes, performers and anyone looking to be active from children to professionals and works closely with physios, allied health and surgeons to keep them active, healthy and at their best.
