Our Bike Fit Physiotherapists at Bounce

Benjamin De Riter is our resident Bike Fit Physiotherapist at Bounce Blackburn & North Rginwood. As the great Eddy Merckx once said "Ride as much or as little, or as long or as short as you feel. But ride."
But sometimes pain and discomfort on the bike can make completing your desired riding difficult, whether you are an elite cyclist to recreational enthusiast, taking the time to have your bike set up analysed and adjusted can often make all the difference.
Our bike fitter Ben, utilises skills from his extensive background in Physiotherapy and Exercise Science to assess individual biomechanics and pathology, develop a detailed plan and make any required adjustments to help you, the rider ride with more comfort and less pain.
Ben is also a very keen road cyclist often spotted in the Dandenong Ranges or along the Kew Boulevarde. Having spent countless years working in various bike stores in the Southeast suburbs Ben knows his way around a wide variety of bikes, from commuters to high end road, time trial and mountain bikes.

Rosalyn (Rosie) Moore is our resident Bike Fit Physiotherapist at Bounce Blackburn. Rosie has loved cycling ever since she was a kid. What started as scenic rides on the weekend then turned into her main form of transport. These days, cycle-touring is her favourite way to travel, and she has completed several multi-day adventures across Scotland, Norway, Spain, and many more within Australia. Rosie first began her cycling analysis training in 2015, and since then has continued through to Level 4 Certificate in Bike Fit.
Rosie applies her clinical knowledge as a physiotherapist with her education and experience in cycling biomechanics to solve discomfort areas for cyclists of all abilities. This may be spinal pain, knee pain, saddle soreness, or tingling/numbness in the extremities. A thorough assessment of your body mechanics, plus a video analysis of your cycling technique and position on the bike will be carried out, with adjustments made as able within the session.
Video analysis is the most accurate method of determining the optimal cycling setup, and is also an excellent way to get going with a good fit if you are just starting out.

Our clinicians are also involved with the cycling community and love a Beach Road coffee too.
