Megan Davis is a psychologist, with a masters in sports, and also in injury and pain management.
With over 20 years experience Megan has worked extensively with athletes and coaches from a wide range of sports, including performance enhancement and athlete life skills. Megan is experienced in psychological aspects of managing injury and pain, particularly ongoing or persistent pain, including work or road-trauma related injuries.
Megan was awarded a Graduate Diploma in Child and Adolescent Psychology at The University of Melbourne, and a Masters in Applied Psychology (Sport) at Monash University.
Megan has worked with the Australian Swim Team as a team manager on National Event camps, and with the Australian Youth Team as a psychologist. Her work with athletes includes performance enhancement skills, athlete life skills training, family counseling, and the special needs of female athletes.
As an athlete Megan represented Australia in swimming.

Megan has worked as part of the Pain Management Team at the Victorian Rehabilitation Centre, and in private practice, assisting people with persistent pain to optimize their recovery and/or adjustment. Issues include concentration and relaxation skills, emotional responses, sleep and family dynamics.
From an educational perspective, she has lectured at tertiary level, has presented at level one and two coaching courses, and runs regular short courses in sport psychology and in managing ongoing pain.
From a counseling perspective, she consults with individuals, families groups and teams.
Megan is a registered provider for Workcover, TAC, Medicare and several private health funds.
